Human Service Week 2020 at the Evangelische Hochschule Nürnberg
Looking at experiences with structures, the organization of human services and social policies in an international perspective
Senior care, children day care, disability assistance, therapy for drug abusers, youth welfare are part of the human services that give response to a need in special life situations. Human Services is the more or less managerial or economic perspective on social work, care, pedagogy and other disciplines involved.
We are a group of university teachers from all over the world who deal with human services in teaching and/or research.
The year 2020 with the corona pandemic has brought many disruptions to our society and to our universities. Universities around the world had to work online. Our exchanges and our international summer school “in real life” were cancelled.
So we started our International Online Summer School 2020 which we renamed Human Service Week 2020
